# Insights

> See how your channels and posts perform across the workspace.

**Insights** in the sidebar is the analytics dashboard for the whole workspace. Every member of the workspace can open it. For one channel in depth, open the channel and pick **Insights**; see [Channel insights](/knowledge-base/insights/channel-insights).

## Which networks are included

Insights covers X, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, Pinterest, Bluesky and Mastodon.

LinkedIn (profile and Page), Telegram, Discord and Google Business are not included: these networks do not share analytics with third-party apps.

Posts published directly on the network, outside TryPost, count too. They are marked **Published on the social network**; posts sent from TryPost are marked **Published via TryPost**. After you connect a channel, TryPost imports its history in the background: "Importing account history. Older posts may appear as collection continues."

## The dashboard

| Section | What it shows |
| - | - |
| **Summary** | Totals for the period, such as **Posts**, **Total Followers**, **Reactions**, **Comments** and **Eng. Rate**, compared with the previous period. |
| **Followers** | Followers per channel at the end of the period and how the count changed. Switch the chart between **Line**, **Bar** and **Growth**. |
| **Posts** | How many posts each channel published in the period. Switch between **Bar** and **Stacked bar**. |
| **Performance** | Totals per channel for posts published in the period, compared with the previous period. Choose the metrics with **Columns**. |
| **Top 5 Posts** | Your five posts with the most reactions or comments. Choose which with **Rank posts by**. |

With many channels, the charts show a subset; filter by channel to see others.

Post metrics use the latest saved reading for the posts published in the range. When a network was unavailable, a follower count can show **Last known**.

## Date range

Pick **7 days**, **30 days** (the default), **Month to date** or **Custom**. **Custom** offers quick picks such as **Last 3 months** or **Year to date**. Every number is compared with the previous period of the same length.

Days are calendar days in your time zone, and weekly charts start on your start of week. Both come from [Preferences](/knowledge-base/settings/preferences).

## Filters

Filter the dashboard by channels and by labels. If nothing matches, Insights says so and suggests another range or clearing the filters.

## Export

**Export** downloads the dashboard for the current range and filters as **CSV** or **Markdown**.

## How often data updates

**Sync status** explains it:

* New posts are picked up every 3 hours on each channel, and every 24 hours on X.
* Post metrics refresh once a day for posts from the last 30 days (20 days on X).
* Follower counts are saved once a day.

Follower history builds up day by day from when the channel was connected.
