# Notifications

> Choose which emails TryPost sends you.

TryPost notifies you by **email only**. There is no in-app notification center.

Open **Settings → Notifications** to choose which emails you receive. Each switch saves as soon as you flip it; if the save fails, the switch goes back and an error message appears.

## Email notifications

| Switch | What it covers | Who receives it |
| - | - | - |
| **Post published** | A post was published successfully. | The account owner |
| **Post failed** | A post failed to publish on one or more channels. | The account owner |
| **Account disconnected** | A channel lost its connection, the daily check found disconnected channels in a workspace, or upcoming posts are at risk because their channel needs reconnecting. | The account owner |
| **New note on a post** | A teammate added a [note](/knowledge-base/publish/overview) to a post. | Every workspace member except the note's author (on a post pending approval: only approvers and the requester) |
| **Collaboration** | [Approval](/knowledge-base/publish/approvals) requests, and posts approved or rejected. | Requests go to every approver except the requester; decisions go to the requester |

Every switch is on by default. The settings are personal: turning one off only stops the email for you.

## Emails you cannot turn off

* **Workspace invitations**, sent to the person you invite. See [Members and permissions](/knowledge-base/settings/members-and-permissions).
* **Paused webhook**, sent to the account owner when a webhook is paused after repeated failed deliveries. See [Webhooks](/knowledge-base/settings/webhooks).
* Account emails such as email verification and password reset.

## Language and times

Emails arrive in your interface language, and every time in them is shown in your time zone and time format. Change them in [Preferences](/knowledge-base/settings/preferences).
