# Plans and billing

> TryPost Cloud plans, how your subscription starts, and how to change plan, update your card or cancel.

  This page is about TryPost Cloud. A self-hosted TryPost has no plans or billing: every feature is available and there is no workspace limit.

## Plans

Both plans have the same features. The difference is how many workspaces you get, and you can switch plans whenever you like.

Yearly billing gives you 2 months free.

A [workspace](/knowledge-base/settings/workspaces) is one brand or client, kept separate from the rest: its own social accounts, signatures, labels, analytics, member permissions and MCP connection.

### Everything included

On both plans:

* All social networks
* Unlimited social accounts, even several from the same network
* Unlimited members
* Calendar and queue
* The AI assistant in the composer
* [MCP](/knowledge-base/settings/mcp): post from Claude, ChatGPT or other assistants
* [Repurpose](/knowledge-base/repurpose)
* [Insights](/knowledge-base/insights/overview)

There are no AI credits or usage limits.

## Start your subscription

After you sign up, the welcome steps end with **Choose your plan**. Pick Socials or Workspaces; the button reads \*\*Start for $1** — $1 for the first month, then the plan's monthly price. You finish at Stripe Checkout, which asks for a card.

The $1 first month is for a first subscription only, on the plan's monthly price. When it is not offered, a first subscription starts with an 8-day free trial instead, still with a card, and the Billing page shows **Trial until** *date*. The two never combine: the $1 first month replaces the trial.

If the account had a subscription before, there is no \$1 first month and no trial: you pay the plan's monthly price from the start.

The welcome step is monthly only. Once subscribed, you can switch to yearly from the Billing page.

Until the owner finishes checkout, members of the account see **Waiting for the account owner**.

## The Billing page

Only the account owner can manage billing. Open it from **Settings → Billing**, or **Plans and billing** in the workspace menu.

* **Current plan** — your plan and price, with **Renews automatically**, **Trial until** *date* or **Cancelled, ends on** *date*, and how many workspaces you use (**Workspaces: 1 of 1**).
* **Payment method** — your card. **Manage on Stripe** opens Stripe to update your card or billing details, or to cancel.
* **Invoices** — download past invoices.

If a payment fails, the page shows **Payment past due** with **Update payment**, and the same notice appears at the bottom of the sidebar.

## Change plan

Click **Change plan** to upgrade or downgrade, or to switch between monthly and yearly. The change applies to your current subscription right away.

To move from Workspaces to Socials you can have only one workspace: with more, TryPost asks you to delete the extras before switching. See [Delete a workspace](/knowledge-base/settings/workspaces#delete-a-workspace).

## Cancel

Cancel from **Manage on Stripe**. The Billing page then shows **Cancelled, ends on** *date*, and you keep access until that date.
