# Signatures

> Save text you add to posts often — hashtags, links, a sign-off — and append it from the composer.

A signature is reusable text to append to your posts: a set of hashtags, a link to your newsletter, a sign-off. Signatures belong to the workspace, so every member sees and uses the same list.

Every member of the workspace can create, edit and delete signatures. Find them in **Settings → Signatures**, and search the list by name.

## Create a signature

Click **New signature**, give it a **Name** (for example "Marketing" or "Brand sign-off") and its **Content**, then **Create signature**.

You can also create one without leaving the composer: open the signatures picker and add a new one there.

## Use a signature

In the [composer](/knowledge-base/publish/composer), click the **Signatures** button in the editor toolbar, search, and click a signature. Its content is appended at the end of the text, after a blank line. You can add more than one.

When you customize the post for each network, the signature goes into the network you are editing.

The text is copied into the post. Editing or deleting the signature later does not change posts that already used it.

## Edit or delete

Use **Edit signature** to change its name or content, and **Delete signature** to remove it after a confirmation.
