TryPost supports posting to Bluesky.

Connect your account

  1. Go to Accounts in the TryPost dashboard
  2. Click Connect Bluesky
  3. Enter your Bluesky handle and an App Password
Bluesky doesn’t use OAuth. You need to create an App Password in your Bluesky settings. Do not use your main password.

Media limits

The video size is the lexicon’s decimal value (300 000 000 bytes). Bluesky’s image blob limit is 2 MB (2 000 000 bytes), but TryPost re-encodes every non-GIF image under it at publish, so only the 10 MB hard cap applies to the original; a GIF over 2 MB fails at publish. Self-hosting setup

No API credentials or environment variables are required for Bluesky. It works out of the box on any self-hosted instance.
